Thomas Cain, who has been living at Wenona for some years, a former old resident of LaSalle, died last Tuesday.
The remains were brought to this city for interment. About 12 years ago, in jumping from an eastbound passenger train near Blanchard's warehouse, the poor fellow lost his balance and had both his legs cut off.—La Salle Dem-Press.
