Antonin Kluzak was born on May 13, 1861 in Svinkach, Bohemia of the Austrian Empire, the son of Matyas and Katherina Hula (Svec) Kluzak.

In 1870, the parents and their six sons left Bohemia to make their new home in the United States of America. They departed from the port in Bremen, Germany on the ship named "Main". The ship was built by Caird & Co. of Greenock, Scotland, tonnage: 2,893, Dimmensions: 365' X 40', single-screw, 14 knots, inverted engines, twin masts and one funnel. Their destination per the ship's records was: United States of America. The family arrived in the Port of New York, New York on November 17, 1870.

The family spent a short time in Cleveland, Ohio. Son, Jan found employment there. The other family members went on to Southern Minnesota. On January 17, 1871, the parents and five sons were living in Lanesburgh Township, LaSueur County, Minnesota, where on this date their daughter, Mary was born. Mary passed away in infancy.

At the time of the US Census in 1880, the parents and their five sons were living in a Bohemian Settlement in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota.

Antonin and Mary Maresh, daughter of Thomas and Mary Maresh were married on December 1, 1890 in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota.

The U.S. Census was taken on June 15, 1900 and the family was living in Mission Creek Township, Pine County, Minnesota where they farmed. Next they moved to Northland Township, Polk County, Minnesota and they farmed there until moving to Saskatchewan, Canada in 1911. They also farmed in Canada.

George and Mary had six children: Libbie, George, Emil, John, Mary, and Arthur.

George Kluzak passed away on January 13, 1937 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
