Adell Reese Palmer, 87, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away September 13, 2004 with her loving family at her side. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a wonderful artist, writer, and poet of numerous books, especially 'Butterfly Children' and 'When He Comes Again'. She was a member of The National League of American Pen Women. She was born April 29, 1917 in Salt Lake City to Chester W. Reese and Edith Johnson, stepmother, Irene Miller. She married Robert E. Palmer (deceased) June 25, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She is survived by her four children, Delene (Norman) Overman, Terrie Lynne Deal, Penny Perea, Richard (Jackie) Palmer, 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; sister Virginia Swenson. Preceded in death by three brothers, Lamar, Howard, and Weston. Funeral services held on Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at the Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd. Interment, Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
