BOB ARRINGTON

Meaders Washington “Bob” Arrington, 73, of Bruce, died July 29, 1985 at his home. Retired from E. L. Bruce Co., he was born January 25,1912 the son of Eugene Joseph Arrington and Margaret Pate Arrington.
He was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church, Coffeeville Masonic Lodge, and was a 32nd Degree Mason and also a Shriner.
Services are today (Wednesday) at 3 p.m. at Bruce First Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Nestor officiating. Burial will be in Coffeeville Cemetery with Antony-Parker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Smiley Arrington, Bob Henderson, Earl Mayhan, Bobby Steele, Joe Martin, John Robert Collins, Jerry Dunn and Blue Logan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Walter Glenn’s Sunday School Class, Bruce First Baptist Church, and Ed Reid, T. W. Plunk, Gene Edwards, Frank McAlpine, William Ottis Hurst, Odis Logan and E. L. Steele.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Zara Pittman Arrington, Bruce;
Two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Henderson, Greenwood; Mrs. Martha Patterson, Red Oak, Iowa;
Two Sons, Larry Arrington, Houston; Ralph Arrington, Tupelo;
Three sisters, Mrs. Madge Fuerstenberger, Memphis, TN; Mrs. Homer Dale Coleman, Sardis; Mrs. Erna Martin, Coffeeville;
One Brother, Dennis Arrington, Coffeeville; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby G. Arrington.
