The date of birth for Margaret, though it is on the headstone, is incorrect. The U.S. Census for 1900 lists Sept 1880 as her birth date and the 1910, 1920, and 1930 ages for Margaret are in basic agreement with that 1880 birth year. Additionally, the 7 November 1878 birth date for Margaret is clearly too close to the birth date of her brother, George Sebron Pate, born 24 November 1878.
