Suellen was born on October 6, 1941, in Minot, ND, the daughter of Deodor and Selma (Ronshaugen) Langseth. She was reared and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1959. She married Gerald Geyer on April 15, 1961, at Bethany Lutheran Church, in Minot. They lived in Minot. He died on September 24, 1964. She continued to live in Minot where over the years, she worked as a bookkeeper for Minot TV and Appliance, Lutheran Brotherhood Insurance, Northwestern Electric and the Auto Doctor.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Minot. Her husband was killed in a car accident while she was pregnant with her second child, Brenda. She raised her two children and took care of her family up until her death. She was a self-sufficient person that could and did do home repairs and remodeling. She was an avid gardener, did arts and crafts and was a gifted artist. She greatly appreciated her neighbors who helped when she did need help. Family was utmost important in her life, she put them in front of everything else.

Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
