She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, attended schools in New Castle, and moved to Muncie as a child.
Mrs. Stacy owned and operated Rock-A-Bye-Baby on south Macedonia. She previously had worked at Pizza King and Gethsemane United Methodist Church Day Care.
Mrs. Stacy was a member of Tabernacle of Praise. She loved and enjoyed watching her grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Charles Gray Stacy; four children, Gregory Lane Watson (wife-Kimberly), Muncie, Lea Renee Workman (husband-Chuck), Muncie, Angelo Dean Stacy, Louisville, Kentucky, and William Gean Stacy (wife-Melodie), Louisville, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren, Joshua, Brock, Shay, Jada, and Seth Watson, Matthew Ratliff, Zack Armantrout, Taylor and Haille Workman, Sean, Sierra, and Peyton Stacy; four sisters, Jesse Wilson, Monticello, Kentucky, Dorothy Dobbs, Browntown, Norma Jones, Muncie, and Juanita Bell, New Castle; and several nieces and nephews including Irene and Lawrence Turner.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Pratter, Elsie Kidd, and Carol Taulbee, and her brother, Herstal Roberts.
Services will be held in Tabernacle of Praise at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday with Pastor John Tyner officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at THE MEEKS MORTUARY and CREMATORY from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday or one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.
