1909 - Elias DeLong, an aged resident of Alburtis, died on Friday of heart failure, aged 61 years and 2 months (sic t.s. has 17 ds). The funeral will be held on Wednesday morning at 9.30 o'clock, with services and burial at Lehigh Church, Rev. F. P. Laros officiating. He is survived by his wife and these children: Mrs. Samuel Dresher, Curtis deLong, Alburtis; Wallace deLong, Allentown; Charles DeLong, Egg Harbor; Helen DeLong, Edgar DeLong and William DeLong, Alburtis. Deceased was a member of Allen Council, No., 753, O.I.A., and of East Texas Beneficial Society.
