About Prairieville Township and Cemetery
The town of Prairieville began in the 1800's. Prairieville became Eolia. St. John's church is a historic landmark. Prairieville Methodist Cemetery is near but separate from Eiolia Cemetery and is located where the Methodist Church previously stood. Prairieville Cemetery is along H and the lane to St. John's Church.
