Aunt Anna, as we called her, was born to poor Lithuanian immigrants who crisscrossed the US until settling in Oak Creek and then Lafayette, Colorado. Also known as Anna Pasnokas in Oak Creek. Name changed to Anna Clemens on her father's Naturalization Cert.(1918) She appears in the 1928 & 1930 Lafayette directories, occupation: waitress. She probably graduated from Lafayette High. She may have gone to Chicago to visit Paznokas relatives. Her 1st two children were born in Chicago. She was married in Crown Point, IN and lived in Terre Haute for years before going to live with daug. Marcella until her death in CA. She was a waitress for 25 years at Henrici's.
