Our precious mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Florence Banuelos Kughler, passed away Sept. 7, 2004. She was born August 8, 1922 in Salida, Colorado to Tomas and Reyes Maestas Banuelos. Married Antonio Martinez, later divorced. Married George Dean Kughler, Sr. Florence loved and enjoyed her family very much. She was a very special and kind person who was always very giving. She always helped people even giving them a place to stay. She also loved her cats very much. Flora had extraordinary beauty, charm, wit, and grace. She is survived by a daughter, Irene M. Nygren, two sons, Jack L. Kughler and George Dean Kughler, Jr.; seven grandchildren, Stephanie R. Nygren, Glen (Sheila) Nygren, Jr., Michelle (Gordon) Dye, August Kughler, Misty Gallegos, Pamela O. Kughler, and Justin Kughler and 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Connie Moran. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean, her parents, one grandson, Thomas Jose Kughler, and sister, Ruth McCasland. A special thank you goes out to her friends, Cathy Sidon and Barbara Gallegos. A memorial service held Friday at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South. Inurnment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South.
