Born in Bay on July 18, 1935 the only child of the late Frank and Lydia (Kraftzeck) Bierwirth. On October 3, 1953 in Columbia she was united in marriage to Byron Engelbrecht. A lifelong resident of Missouri Anna Mae graduated from Hermann High School in Hermann. She was briefly employed at a Hat Factory but was more importantly a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening. She was a member of Zion-St. Paul United Church of Christ in Bay. She was preceded in death by two sons, Brent and Brian Engelbrecht. Her survivors include two daughters, Susan Schneider and husband Tom of Jefferson City and Barbara Lee and husband, Jerry of Columbia; a son, Michael Engelbrecht of Owensville; daughter-in-law, Loretta Engelbrecht of Auxvasse; by ten grandchildren, Jason, Travis, Todd and Tyler Schneider, John and Jill Engelbrecht, Kaithlyn and Zachary Lee, Lane and Gracie Engelbrecht; and by two great-grandsons, Evan and Jace Schneider.
