Funeral services were held in Mabank Friday at 2 p.m. for Stephen W. West, 77, prominent retired farmer of Mabank. Mr. West died Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. in Terrell.
Burial was at Kemp.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. S.W. West of Mabank; one son, J.C. West of Kemp; two daughters, Mrs. Vertie Williams of Kemp and Mrs. Josie Woodward of Dallas; two brothers, Tom L. West of College Station and Jim West of Gatesville; two sisters, Mrs. Eddie Terry of Boscoe and Mrs. Alice Husky of College Station; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. West had been a resident of Mabank for the past 30 years.
