Virginia Bunch (or Boles) McCutcheon Stamps was born in Missouri, daughter of William McCutcheon (or McCutchan) and Rebekah McKnight, who were both born in Virginia.

She and William Shackelford Stamps were married in Missouri in 1835 and were the parents of 5 and possibly 6 children.

She died around 1853, and is buried between two of her children: Norman H. Stamps (1849-1854?) and Caroline C. Stamps (1841-1883). Another child which might be hers is buried next to Norman: Mary E. Stamps, buried in 1841.

Her husband William Shackelford Stamps, and his second wife Elizabeth Burrell Stamps, are in this family lot as well.

Her parents are also in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
