ETHEL B. BARTELME

Ethel B. Bartelme, age 85, a former resident of 1334A S. 19th St., Manitowoc, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Robert Meyer, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Ethel was born October 1, 1914, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Michael and Lillian Wegforth Bartelme. Ethel was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School,
with the class of 1932. She was a life long Manitowoc resident. Ethel worked at Mirro for 48 years in the clerical department until her retirement in 1980. She then worked for 20 plus years at St. Johns United Church of Christ as the church secretary. Ethel was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, the Altar
Circle, past Treasurer of the Womens Guild, and Past President of the Friendship Club.
Survivors include three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Kathryn and Robert Richardt, Manitowoc, Marilyn Oestreich, Fond du Lac, Carol and Clarice Carey, Manitowoc; four brothers and five sisters-in-law, Gordon and Lorraine Bartelme, Manitowoc, Glen and Gerry Bartelme, Manitowoc Jack and Avis Bartelme, Oconomowoc,
Robert and Jo Anne Bartelme, Manitowoc, Helen Bartelme, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Harold, Russell, Milton, Michael and Norman Bartelme; one sister and two brothers-in-law, Betty and Kenneth Leannah and Kenneth Oestreich; one infant brother and two infant sisters.
The family will greet relatives and friends, Tuesday evening at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday morning, at church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Ethel enjoyed her family, church, sewing and gardening. She will be sadly missed by all.
