Isom/Ishom/Icem Marion Skinner was the son of Isaac Francis Marion Skinner and Josephine Snowden, who married June 7, 1866 Clarke Co., Mississippi; grandson of Rev. W. E. Snowden and Harriet Skinner. He married 1. Rutha M. Richardson on Feb. 21, 1897 in Winn Parish, LA. She was born in April 1882, in Winn Parish and died there. Marion was a mail carrier in the Winnsboro area. He later married 2. Minnie (last name unknown) and had George, Peggy, Murrell, Randle A. Skinner and two more daughters. Marion was shot and killed by his son-in-law at the old post office in Winnsboro, after a day's work. Rutha and Marion had: Thomas Floyd, A. Dewey, Eva, Minnie and Della Skinner.

I. M. Skinner was born in Winn Parish in 1873, and died in Winnsboro, Wednesday October 12th, 1932, at the age of 59 years.
After spending the greater part of his life in Winn Parish, he came to Franklin Parish in 1907 and located on a farm at Liddieville, and several years ago he moved on a farm near Winnsboro, residing there until his death. Mr. Skinner was a highly respected citizen of this community, and during his residence here he built up a profitable income from the sale of products from his farm.
In passing from this world, Mr. Skinner leaves to mourn his death, his widow, eight children, and two sisters, as well as his many friends in Franklin and Winn Parish.
Mr. Skinner's body was laid in its resting place in the Ogden cemetery Saturday afternoon, October 15th. Rev. Williams, pastor of the Ogden Baptist Church conducted the services.
