She married Rev. Stanley L. Krebs on September 17, 1890 at the First Reformed Church, Lancaster, PA. The service was performed by Stanley's father, Rev. Walter Krebs. The young couple moved to St. Andrew's Reformed Church, Reading, PA where they served successfully until 1901 when they moved to First Reformed Church, Greensburg, PA. where they served until 1906 when her husband accepted a position as associate editor of the Science Press in Chicago, IL. In 1908 the family moved to Swarthmore, PA where her husband was employed by John Wanamaker's University of Commerce in Philadelph, PA. Her husband had become an increasingly popular Chautauqua orator and the family moved to the Bronx, NY. She spent three years in Germany, 1913-1916, where her three children were educated. In 1920 Anna was operating a boarding house in the Bronx, New York City for seven boarders. In addition to their three children, Stanley's father was living with them. Stanley and Anna divorced in late 1920. Anna moved to 547 Riverside Drive,Manhattan where she continued to serve boarders. Later she moved to 362 Riverside Drive. Her funeral was held in Manhattan.

The Krebs had four children: Katherine, Stanley Walter Krebs, Annabell Culverwell and Josephine Parks.
