"Mrs. Leanah Gee, 90, of Bates Pike died early this morning at her home after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her husband Burley Gee, a daughter, Mrs. D.L. Burnette of Augusta, GA; four sons, Andrew Gee and A.C. Gee, both of Cleveland; Ephran Gee of Madisonville; and Luther Gee, of Cayville, N.J.; twenty-seven grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Revs. H. Lewis, J.W. Rymer, Samuel Melton, and J.E. Firestone conducting. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be at the home on Bales Pike after 4 p.m. this afternoon. Goodner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements."
