Executors Sale of Land and Personal Property
As executor of the will of Hudson Armstrong, deceased, and Adm'r of Malinda Armstrong, dec'd, I will, on Oct. 31, 1912 at the late residence of said decedent's on Bull Pasture mountain, offer for rent by way of public auction: First; a tract of land containing 52 acres, more or less, in good state of cultivation, with plenty of water on it, a good dwelling and out houses and known as the Peter Hupman place 9 miles south of Headwaters and two miles east of Clover Creek. This farm has on it a nice orchard, locust trees and other timber and is a nice home. Second; And on the same day and at the same place, I will offer for sale at public auction the following personal property: One good bay work mare, one yearling mare colt, 2 good cows, each three years old, 1 hog, one 2 horse wagon, 1 good buggy, 1 runabout, 1 set of single harness, one set of work harness, bridles. collars and halters, 1 big plow, 1 wind mill, 1 grain cradle and some farm implements, 1 side saddle, 1 man's saddle, one 25 gal. copper kettle, 1 iron kettle, 1 cook stove; one sewing machine, one safe, two clocks, 1 bureau; 65 jars of fruit, 3 bed steads, some good bed clothes, feather ticks, bolsters, comforts and quilts, a lot of new rag carpet, 1 home rifle, dishes and household furniture, a lot of potatoes, onions, corn and fodder, some oats in sheaf and some hay and other things too tedious to mention Terms of sale made known or day sale.
