Mrs. Dora Etter Davis, 65, died at her home at Wesley, Wednesday, August 29, at 8:30 p.m.

She was born May 10, 1886 at Drakes Creek and had lived in the Wesley community for six years, moving there in 1945. She was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Benner E. Davis of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Julia Campbell of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Ruby Davis of Tacoma, Wash.; a son, Grover Parker of Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. Effie Brooks and Mrs. Fanner Banks, both of Fayetteville; four brothers, Will Elkins and Hosea Elkins, both of Parksdale addition, Fayetteville, Ova Elkins of Fayetteville, and Floyd Elkins of Haywood, Calif.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Smith of Buena Park, Calif., Mrs. Myrtle Counts of Springdale, Mrs. Bertha Powell of Hindsville, and Mrs. Geneva Faulkner of Wesley; three step-sons, Elijah Davis of Georgetown, Floyd Davis of Springdale and Claude Davis of Wesley; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Sons Chapel with the Rev. Jake Drake officiating. Burial was under the direction of Nelson's Funeral home of Fayetteville.
