Nolen "Candy" Elkins, 47, well known automotive salesman and former member of the Fayetteville Fire Department, died at his home here last night.

He was employed as a salesman at Houston-Taylor Motor Company at the time of his death. He was a member of the Eagle Lodge in Fayetteville, the First Baptist Church in Springdale, and was a member of the 142nd Field Artillery during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Cecil Thompson Elkins; one son, Raymond C. Elkins, a student at the University; two daughters, Miss Geraldine Elkins of California, and Miss Nancy Jo Elkins, of the home.

Four brothers, Ovea Elkins, Willie Elkins and Hosea Elkins, all of Fayetteville, and Floyd Elkins of California; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Davis, of Drakes Creek, and Mrs. Effie Brooks and Mrs. Tenner Baugs, both of Fayetteville.

Funeral arrangements, under the direction of Callison-Sisco Funeral Home, are incomplete.

Funeral services for Nolen "Candy" Elkins, who died at his home Tuesday night, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Springdale by the Rev. Norman Drake, pastor of the Second Baptist Church in Fayetteville, assisted by the Rev. Stanley Jordan, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Springdale. Burial will be in the Bluff cemetery under the direction of the Callison-Sisco Funeral Home.
