Frank Forrester Mackey was the eldest son of James Adam Mackey and his wife Charlotte Jane Forrester. His brothers and sisters were: Mary K. Mackey, Mary Charlotte "Mamie" Mackey, Alice L. Mackey, Catherine Georgina Mackey Losee, and James Governor Mackey. Around 1890, following the death of Frank's grandfather, James Governor Mackey, the family moved to Mackey, Schoharie County, NY, to live on his grandparents' farm. There, he helped his father run the farm. Eventually, Frank left home traveling in Canada and the northwestern, US. On March 14, 1914, most likely in Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada, Frank was married to Clarice Leta Wolverton, daughter of Rev. Bruce Wolverton. The couple lived for a time in Sexsmith, Alberta, Canada. There they had four of their six children: Harold Edwin, Mary Charlotte, Vera Evelyn, and Margaret. Frank and Clarice's eldest child, Francis Adam (Memorial 939718)was born in Holt Summit, MO. Their youngest child, Zerita Jane was born in Portland, OR, after the family finally settled there. After Frank passed away, he was cremated, and his ashes were sent home, so he could be buried next to his father in Livingstonville, NY
