Robert Ernest Crisler of New Holland, GA was born in Maysvile, Jackson County, Georgia on October 16, 1917. He died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998 at New Horizons West Nursing Home following an extended illness. He was a member of New Holland Baptist Church and retired from Chicopee Mill. Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Sims Crisler, New Holland; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette and Ralph Roshau, Ellijay, and JoAnn and Frank Greenway, Flowery Branch; sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Rancine Crisler, Brandon, FL, and Ralph and Brenda Crisler, Daytona Beach, FL; brothers, Donald Crisler, Alpharetta, and Jack Crisler, Athens; sisters, Helen Little and Sadie Turner both of Thomasville, NC, and Bernice Parker, Heflin, AL; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral service 11 a.m. Sept. 23, 1998, Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rev. Doyal Conley and Rev. Scott Wilson officiating. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
