Services held for Frank L. Burkgren Monday, March 30

Funeral services for Frank L. Burkgren, 82, of Dayton were held Monday, March 30 in the Emanuel Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Delpho Peterson conducted the services and burial was held in the Dayton Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Carson Funeral Home of Dayton, Boxholm and Ogden.

Mr. Burkgren passed away Friday, March 27 at Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge following a lengthy illness.

During the service Mr. Richard Will sang two solos accompanied by Miss Marie Thomann. Mrs. Ivan Skoglund was in charge of the flowers. Bearers were Calvin Burkgren, Robert Burkgren, Delmar Gustafson, Raymond Gustafson, Quentin Lundquist and Donald Stewart.

Frank L. Burkgren was born Dec. 20, 1880 near Dayton. He attended the Dayton area schools. He operated an automobile agency for a number of years before retiring about ten years ago.

He is survived by two brothers, Marvin and Obed of Dayton and 15 nieces and nephews.
