Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula, for Rosy Dell Talley Vicknair, 67, who died on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Fr. Richard Fabre will officiate at the funeral service. The scriptures will be read by Mady Poche Vicknair.
Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula.
Survivors include her husband, James 'T-Gree' Vicknair of St. Martinville; one son, Wallace and his wife, Anna Robin Vicknair, of Henderson; four daughters, Alice Bienvenu and her husband, Michael, of Catahoula, Connie Devillier and her companion, Casey Bodoin, of Catahoula, Lisa Rush and her husband, Terry, of Georgia, and Cathy Borel and her husband, Dean, of Catahoula; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Archie Vicknair; her parents, Cleveland and Estelle Latiolais Talley; and her brother, Mervin Talley.
Pallbearers will be Casey Bodoin, Terry Rush, Lane Borel, Dean Borel, Charles Bourque, Jude Knight, and Jonathan Judice.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
