Wife of Lyman Dewey Hansen
KAYSVILLE- Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Gladys F. Hansen, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2003 in Clearfield, Utah.
She was born March 31, 1917 in Penrose, Utah, a daughter of Conrad T. and Clara Petersen Fredricksen.
She married Lyman Dewey Hansen on October 1, 1936 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Gladys was reared and educated in Penrose. She was an active member of the LDS Church and enjoyed going to the temple.
She most enjoyed being a grandmother, quilting, crocheting, working in the garden and cooking.
She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie (Kaye) Sleater, Salt Lake City and Gale Hillaker, Ogden: 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, one sister Virgie (Richard) Gay, Overton, NV.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Lanny and one daughter, Billie Kay, two brothers and six sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2003 at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Family and friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
