She was born March 16, 1863, in the town of Chilton, a daughter of James and Catherine Mangan and was married at St. Augustine’s church Oct. 21, 1894. After disposing of their farm in 1919, Mr. and Mrs. Hurley went to Milwaukee to reside.
Survivors are her husband and children, Mrs. E. Harold Hallows, Mrs. M. J. Fink, Mrs. Allan O. Whaley, Mrs. Henry Schkoegel, and George E., Milwaukee; Mrs. Neil Mc????, Rhinelander; and William Jr., Flint, Mich. There are fifteen grandchildren.
Mrs. Hurley was a member of the Christian Mothers and the Alter Society of St. Catherine’s church, the Happy Death society of Gesu church and of the Third Order of St. Francis.
Funeral services were held at St. Catherine’s church. The requiem high mass was read by Rev. Peter K. Flasch pastor. Interment was in the family lot in St. Augustine’s cemetery.
