MRS. DARBY BRADY LAID TO REST
Frostburg
The funeral of Mrs. Darby Brady who died Tuesday evening at the home of relatives in Baltimore while visiting there, was held Friday morning from St. Michael's Catholic church. Rev Joseph P. Nolan, Lonaconing, a former assistant priest at St. Michael's church and a friend of the family was celebrant of the solemn requiem mass. Rev. Patrick J. Bradley S. T. B. was deacon and Rev. Joseph J. Deppe, sub-deacon and Rev. James Quinn, pastor of St. Michael's church was present in the sanctuary. At the conclusion of the absolution, Miss Mary Cronly, sang 'Face to Face'. Interment was in the church cemetery. The pallbearers were: John, Raymond and Frank Skally and Clarence Brady all of Pittsburgh; Sylvester Burke, Cumberland, and Frank Nairn, Frostburg. The flower-bearers were Thomas McKernan, William J. Donohue, James Skelly and John Kane. Mrs. Brady was well known and her funeral was largely attended by friends and relatives from Pittsburgh, Detroit, Baltimore, Mt. Savage, Cumberland, Piedmont, Lonaconing and other places. Her death was caused by an attack of double-pneumonia and a slight stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Brady was a woman of most pleasing personality and very charitable.
