J. Fed Sullivan Passed Away at His Home Today

John Fed Sullivan, 78 years of age, died at his home on the Mayfield-Paducah road, two miles north of Mayfield, at 6 o'clock this morning. Death resulted from an illness of complications. Sullivan fell a few weeks ago and sustained a fractured hip which left him in a weakened condition.

The body was removed to the Kirk Byrn funeral home to await completion of funeral arrangements.

Sullivan is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mina Sullivan, and the following children: Mrs. Emmett Jeffrey, Mayfield; John B. Sullivan, Davenport, Iowa; Harman Sullivan, of Louisville, Miss Linda Sullivan, at home. Four brothers survive him. They are, Jim and Tobe Sullivan, of Mayfield, Bob Sullivan, north of Mayfield, and Lem Sullivan, of Pottsville. Mrs. Tom Lebre, of Pottsville, is a sister.

Sullivan was a retired farmer and was on of Graves county's best known citizens. He was a native of Graves county.
