Mrs. Phoebe Lewis Weaver, 103, 1100 Cartersville Highway, died Wednesday, Nov. 18 in the Cedartown hospital. She was born Feb. 4, 1889 in Haralson County. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dock Weaver; three sons, Martin, Raymond and B.F. Weaver, two daughers, Evelyn Gladden and Gaudy Lee Boatner, and parents, Martin and Martha Kennymore Lewis. She is survived by her son, J.R. Weaver, Tucker; three daughters, Mrs. Clora Bradley, Rockmart, Mrs. Inez Free of Taylorsville and Mrs. Arzilla Robinson of Cedartown. 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild also survive. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 from the Freeman Harris Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Davis and Rev. Barry Boatner officiating. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bobby Bradley, Thurman Brown, Larry Robinson, Marshal Weaver, Jackie Little, Leroy Weaver and Billy Weaver. Honorary pallbearers were George Bradley, George Robinson, Donald Weaver, Robert Free and Ray Bradley. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
