A retired salesman for Furlow-Laughlin Equipment, was 76, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Sicily Island.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline Stringer Guice; sons, Stan Guice and Greg Guice and wife Paula; a sister, Muriel Wells; a brother, Loma Guice; four grandchildren, Jodie Lynn Guice McPherson and husband William, Rachel Guice, Allisyn Guice Conerly and husband J.R. and Lily Guice; stepgrandchild, Shane Loveless and wife Chrissy; great-grandchildren, William Keith McPherson and Kiersten McPherson; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Courtney, Lauren and Justin Loveless.

Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Keith Guice, Joe Wells, Kenneth Monroe, Lester "Son" Guice, DeWayne Guice, Eddi Wells, Mark Stringer and Bruce Hutchinson.

Honorary pallbearers are all the musicians who played and "jammed" with him through the years.

He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church, 32nd degree Shriner and Mason Lodge 442.
