Mrs. Chris Hansen, 80, Laid to Rest Monday

Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at the Zion Lutheran Church for Mrs. Chris Hansen, who passed away at the Plainview Hospital Friday, Oct. 3 at the age of 80 years. The Rev. Adolph Lillich, pastor, officiated at the rites. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Antomina Larsen was born Nov. 16, 1871 at Hjorring, Denmark. She was baptized in the Lutheran Church in Denmark and also confirmed in her early youth.

With her parents, she moved to Dixon County when a young girl. She was united in marriage to Chris Hansen on April 24, 1886 at Wayne. They resided in Dixon County until they moved to Knox County in March of 1908. To this union eight children were born. Four sons and two daughters survive her. One daughter passed away in 1909, her husband died in 1932 and another daughter, Clara Michel, passed away in December 1951.

She enjoyed good health until a few years ago.

Surviving are her children, Louis of Venus, George of Bloomington, Ill., Mrs. Karen Swain of Overland Park, Kan., Ray of Bloomfield, Mrs. Herbert (Edna) Laughten of Overland Park, Kan. and Edward of Portland, Ore.; 23 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and one brother, Chris Larsen of Omaha.
