Oscar Fisher Mills was the son of Eunice Josephine (Farner) Orndoff and Alexander Mills. He was operated on in the home for Typhoid and died the next day.
OBITUARY: "Oscar Fisher Mills, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Mills, was born in Miami County, Kansas, December 28, 1916. Died August 12, 1924, at the home of his parents east of LaCygne, aged 7 years, 7 months, and 14 days. He is survived by his parents, two brothers and one sister, eight half-brothers, and four half-sisters. The funeral was held at the Christian church Thursday afternoon, interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery."
