SYCAMORE -- Mrs. Ethel G. Alexander, 57, of 923 West State St., Sycamore, passed away Monday, May 2, 1966 at her home.
She was born May 21, 1908 in Cicero, Ind., the daughter of William and Augusta Ballentine Fleetwood, and was married to David H. Alexander on Sept. 1, 1928 in Indiana. They moved to Sycamore after their marriage. She was a member of the Women of the Moose.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Jerold Leifheit of DeKalb, and Mrs. Cletus Marsch of Rockford; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Eklund of Hollywood, Fla.; and one brother, Edgar Fleetwood of Sycamore.
Services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Van Natta Funeral Home with Rev. Harold M. Kelley officiating. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery. Friends may call at Van Natta's from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday evening.
