Edgar P. Fleetwood, 72, Sycamore, died March 19, 1981, at Sycamore Municipal Hospital.
He was born March 6, 1909, in Tipton, Ind., the son of William and Augusta (Ballentine) Fleetwood. He married Margaret Read in Sycamore on June 30, 1934.
He was a salesman for Pioneer Seed Corn Company.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret, Sycamore; three sons, Robert, Sycamore, Phillip, Normal, and Thomas, Brooklyn, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
He was a member of the Sycamore United Methodist Church and of the Ohio Grove Grange.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Quiram-Sycamore Funeral Home, with the Rev. C. Alfred Patten and the Rev. F. Gates Vrooman officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Sycamore.
Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
