Mrs. Albert Fokett, 89, of Reedsville, died Saturday at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John and St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reedsville. The Rev. Harlyn Kuschel will officiate and burial will be in the West Side Church, Cemetery, Reedsville.

Mrs. Fokett, nee Ida Maertz, was born Sept. 21, 1882, in the Town of Maple Grove, daughter of the late Herman and Mathilda Berkholtz Maertz. She was married to Albert Fokett May 12, 1905, at St. John and St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rueben (Verona) Ott, of Rt. 2, Hilbert, a brother, Ervin, of Rt. 1, Reedsville, a sister, Mrs. Elsie Treichel, of Reedsville, 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Five brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Reedsville Funeral Home after 4 o'clock this Monday afternoon until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and then at the church until the time of service.

The wedding of Miss Ida Maertz and Alb. Fokett was quietly solemnized at the Lutheran church last Friday afternoon, Rev. Brenner officiating. The newly wed couple will reside here where the groom owns a cheese factory. We extend heartiest congratulations.
