GUSTAVE PROCHNOW

Gustave Prochnow, 67, of Reedsville, died early Sunday morning at the Manitowoc
County hospital following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Reedsville Co-op
Funeral home and at 2 p.m. at the St. John-James Ev. Lutheran church in Reedsville.
The Rev. Elwood Habermann will officiate with burial in the West side cemetery in
Reedsville.
He was born in 1884 in Rockland and married Amelia Birkholtz in 1906. She died in
1943.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Jensen, of Chilton, three brothers, Charles
of Manitowoc, William of rural route, Kiel, Elmer of Reedsville, five sisters, Mrs.
Ida Schwalbe of Brillion, Mrs. Charles Schneider of Colins, Mrs. William Toebe of
Green Bay, Mrs. Martin Erickson of Valders, Mrs. Albert Reimer of Sheboygan; mother,
Mrs. Amelia Prochnow of rural route, Kiel, two grandchildren, and one great grand-
child.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.

The marriage of Miss Melia Birkholz and Gustav Prochnow was solemnized at the
Lutheran Church last Thursday afternoon. The many friends of the young couple
