Mrs. Prochnow, nee Amelia Birkholtz, was born in Maple Grove in 1886 and in 1906 was married to Mr. Prochnow. They located in Reedsville, where Mr. Prochnow was employed by the Rusch Lumber company.
Survivors are the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Jensen of Chilton; three brothers, Albert and Leonard of this city, August, of Baraboo; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Danning of Wauwatosa, Mrs. Herman Willie, of Milwaukee; and two grandchildren. A brother, William died in June.
The body will be moved to the home Friday evening from the Shimon funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. from the Prochnow home and at two o'clock from the SS. John-James Lutheran church. Burial will be in the west Lutheran cemetery.
