Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 1995, at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Rev. David Kipfmiller will officiate with burial to follow at the St. John St. James Church West Side Cemetery.
He was born September 29, 1918, in the town of Rockland, son of the late Henry and Anna Behnke Bubolz. Henry attended Reedsville High School and on June 9, 1940, he married Malinda Bubolz at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. He farmed in the Two Rivers area until 1945 and then farmed in Reedsville the remainder of his life on his dairy farm.
Survivors include his wife, Malinda; five daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Dr. Charles Engel, West Salem, Wis., Joyce and Eugene Schubring, Manitowoc, Susan and Lawrence Schubring, San Antonio, Texas, Linda nd Thomas Lueck, Fond du Lac, Kay and Patrick Marsicek, Appleton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Henry W. and Roxanne Bubolz, rural Manitowoc, David C. and Julie Bubolz, Cato; 25 grandchildren, Kevin and Allen Engle, Mark, Michael and Scott Schubring, Tammy Gross, Amy Arnold, Timothy, Jennie, Jill, Paul, Jessica, Julie, Joy, Janelle and Michael Lueck, Aaron, Traci, Kari, Nicholas, Matthew, Jacob and Abby Bubolz, Marie and Anna Marsicek. Henry is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Jakob, Danielle, and Cody Schubring and Emily Gross; a sister, Ruth Nicholaus, Lake Forest, Ill.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harvey and Lillian Bubolz, Reedsville; a brother-in-law, Arnold Maertz, Reedsville. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father, Reinhard Bessert, a brother, Raymond, his half-sister, Hildegard (Bessert) Maertz, an infant sister, a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, on Friday from 5-8 p.m. and then at the church on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
