Texas Giant Dead
Greenville, Tex, Oct 28 – Jack Shields died at his home here Monday night. Mr. Shields was one of the noted family called the Texas giants. He was 37 years old and leaves a wife and seven children. He was 7 feet 4 inches in height and has four brothers, all about as tall. They traveled five years with Barnum's show and became nationally celebrated.
