Larry was the first born son, and the third child born to Lawrence Guy Atkinson and Ida Myrtle Rudy Atkinson. He was raised by his older sisters, father, and later a step-mom (Elsie Naomi Everett Atkinson)after his mom passed away from complications of a miscarriage when he was 5 years old. He had 2 sisters, 2 brothers (1 of them was stillborn), and he later had 6 half brothers (2 of them died as children), and 6 half sisters through his dad and step-mom. His headstone is engraved wrong. I have Larry's birth certificate in my files stating he was born January 10 1911. I will provide to any one who asks.
