Grandpa Guy was severely injured in a car wreck and still held on for 12 days before his death. He was a rancher/farmer with is own property. He was part of the Utah cattlemans association. He burried his first wife, Ida Myrtyle Rudy Atkinson, after the abortion of their dead baby. They lost a couple of kids together and then he and grandma Elsie Everett Atkinson Hixson lost a couple together. He was survived by a large family of children.
