David Bruce Baker, the seventh child of Arthur and Molly Baker, was born on May 8, 1912. He married Georgia Bell Kidd of Dallas, Texas. Georgia has a son by a previous marriage, Vivian Thomas Kidd. In addition, David and Georgia had two sons, David Arthur, born on September 16, 1942, and Walter Alan, better known as Pete, born on August 21, 1944, and a daughter, Beverly Ann Baker, born on January 6, 1952.

David Bruce Baker, known as Bruce drove for Aero Mayflower Moving Company for 14 years and another 14 years for North American Van Lines. He then switched to Bekin Van Lines and had been driving for that company about two months when he was stricken with a heart attack in the Fort Worth (Texas) area. He died on September 12, 1968 in a Dallas hospital.
