Mrs. Hiram Rodgers, one of the most widely known and highly respected pioneer residents of Dodge county died at her home in east Hooper last Wednesday afternoon January 5, after an illness of about three weeks duration.
Mary Jane Jennings was born at Malta, Ohio Nov 5, 1847, and died at Hooper, Nebr. Jan. 5, 1927, having reached the age of 79 years and 2 months.
