Rites For Dick Rodgers Are Held In California

Funeral services for Dick Rodgers, 90, were held in California. He passed away May 15th at Maywood.

Mr. Rodgers was the last survivor of the fifteen children of Hiram and Mary Jane Rodgers, pioneer settlers of this area.

Surviving are a son, three daughters, and many nieces and nephews. Among them are Mrs. John Malloy of Hooper; Mrs. Gladys Tillman and Mrs. Vernice Skoog of Fremont; Mrs. Barbara Fulton of North Platte; Mrs. Henry Groene of Nickerson, and Mrs. Howard Luther of Kilgore. A cousin, Mrs. Elizabeth Pawling lives in Fremont. Mr. Rodgers was born in the Admah area on the farm where Alan Hoegemeyer now lives.
