George Mutchler, the popular janitor of the hall of the Concordia maennerchor, 684 Pearl Street, died at 5 o'clock this morning of pneumonia. He had been ill since Sunday last and was 52 years of age.

Mr. Mutchler was born in Germany and had lived in this country for the past thirty years. For the past 15 years he had been janitor for the Concordia Maennerchor and previous to taking that position, was a carpenter in the employe of Lewis Morgenstern.

Mr. Mutchler was a member of the Concordia Maennerchor, also secretary of the German Beneficial Union and a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

According to his death certificate, George is the son of George Jacob Mutschler, who was born in Germany.
