Madlean T. Adkins, 83, of Hinton, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Summers Co. Appalachian Regional Hospital, following a long illness. Born August 4, 1923 at Hinton, she was the daughter of the late Burman and Emma Jane Bennett Adkins.
Preceded in death by a brothers; Ralph (Buster) Adkins & Clyde Bennett and sisters; Pansy Adkins & Patsy Adkins Gill.
She is survived by two daughters; Mildred Lilly and husband bobby of Madam's Creek, Hinton and Helen Sears and husband Leonard of Hinton; 6 grandchildren (Kim (Lilly) Morgan, Robert Lilly, Donna (Sears)Angell, Ronald W. Sears, Sherri (Lilly) Turner and Terri L. Lilly; 10 great grandchildren Brad, Zachary and Joshua Morgan, Ashley Sears, Jordan Cales, Brian T. Lane, Allyson Lane, Samantha Angell, Michael Angell and Alexis Ratcliffe; 1 great great grandchild; two sisters; Mojean Fox of Tug Creek and Gladys Upton of Hinton, two brothers; Jackie (Curtis) Adkins and Benjamin Adkins both of Hinton. Burial will follow in the upland Cemetery near Hinton.
