Peoria - Frederick "Freddie" Leroy Weller, 74, of Peoria died at 4:49 a.m. Thursday, Dec 30, 2004, at the home of his daughter.

Born April 24, 1930, in Peoria to Louis A. Weller and Viola Chandler Weller Current, he married Marlene M. Johnson.

Surviving are three daughters, Cindy (and Fred) Williams, Becky (and George) Sentz and Edna (and Richard) Foster, all of Peoria; one son, Bill Holland of Peoria; two sisters, Betty Malson of Peoria and Patty Weller of Moline; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter, two granddaughters and two brothers.

He was a Navy veteran.

He worked in the maintenance department at the Peoria YWCA for the last 12 years. He previously owned and operated Freddie's Delmar Tavern in Peoria and had retired as a truck driver from N.E. Finch.

A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Lord's Table Church of God in Bartonville. The Rev. Ron Simmons will officiate. There will be no visitation. Cremation has been accorded. Schmidt-Haller Burial & Cremation Service in East Peoria is in charge of arrangements.
