Born Oct. 6, 1928, in Peoria to Louis A. Sr. and Viola May Withers Weller, he married Virginia Spangler on April 16, 1949, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Reggie (and Patti) and Marty, both of East Peoria; one daughter, Cathy (and Robert) Wilkey of Secor; one brother, Freddy of Peoria; two sisters, Betty Malson of Fort Myers, Fla., and Patty VanLanningham of Moline; six grandchildren; one step grandchild; and two greatgrandchildren.
One brother preceded him in death.
He was a Navy veteran.
He was a self-employed truck driver.
He was a member of Hilton Masonic Lodge.
Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery.
