Marlene Hunter, 71, of 1213 S. Warren died at Tuesday, March 3, 2004, at her home.

Born Dec. 7, 1932, in Peoria to James and Lena Duits Johnson, she married Walter Hunter on Oct. 15, 1987, in Florida. He preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by two sons, one daughter and one brother.

Surviving are three daughters, Rebecca (and George) Sentz, Edna (and Richard) Foster and Cynthia (and Fred) Williams; one son, Billy (and Julie) Holland; and four sisters, Bonnie Hering, Patricia Lippert, Joy (and Bob) Rodden and Marcia (and Bill) Ferguson.

She was a bartender for Freddie's Delmar Tap.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
